About Us
Animal CommunicationHave you ever looked at your animal friend and said, “He understands everything I say”? (But wish you could understand him).
Have you ever wondered what your animal friend thinks about all day?
Are you concerned your pet may be unhappy, or worried, or feeling unwell?
Does your animal companion exhibit behaviour you can’t understand, is making life difficult for others, or you just want to discourage?
Would you like to develop a closer relationship with your animal friend, more loving and understanding than you ever thought possible?
If you have answered, “yes” to any of these questions then I can help. Through Animal Communication or ITC (Interspecies Telepathic Communication) I can help you bridge the gap in communication between you and your animal friend.
Animal Communication is a telepathic process, and one that we are all born with. Mothers and their babies communicate telepathically or subconsciously from day 1. It may be called “Mothers or “Women’s Intuition” but it is actually a from of telepathy.
The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart. Helen Keller
Unfortunately as we grow up we are generally encouraged to use verbal language as the accepted and "higher" mode of communication and discouraged from using our ability to receive thoughts and messages directly from people and animals around us.
We are also conditioned to believe that animals are generally inferior to humans in that they are seen as merely acting on instinct and “nature”, rather than being able to think, reason and feel, so we learn to separate ourselves even more from mutual and equal communication with them.
Put simply, thoughts are electromagnetic energy and work like radio frequencies. Anyone can pick up the signal if their equipment is tuned in to it and there is no interference. This explains how an animal can tell what we're thinking and feeling. Initially, it's easier for animals to be able to do this than humans, because they live fully in the moment. When animals try to get through to us on a telepathic wavelength, all they get is the "busy signal", because Humans think an estimated 40,000 thoughts every day! For us to hear, feel and see what the animals want to tell us, we have to train our minds to quieten down, switch from “send” to “receive” and to shift the dial on the radio receiver until we get a clear signal.
The universe is full of magical things, patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper. Eden Phillpotts
Training & Experience
I was initially trained in Animal Communication (or reminded of my innate abilities) by world renowned Animal Communicator and author Amelia Kinkade. I stayed under her tutelage for approximately 7 years, assisting on some of her UK workshops. I continue to be inspired and mentored by her, and am honoured to call her my friend. I bless the day i purchased her first book, which started this entire process! (Here we are a few years later, chatting with a Ring-Tailed Lemur!)

I trained in a process of Body Scanning whereby physical sensations can be conveyed between animal and human, offering a unique insight into their wellbeing, in addition to accessing the memories of animals to discover any physical and psychological damage they may have encountered in the past.
This seems to be my "Forté", and is where my years of Human Counselling and Homeopathic experience in consultations come to the fore. You can then proceed to your vet or animal practitioner armed with additional information which may be of use in their treatment of your animal friend. I have an excellent working relationship with my local vets who are happy to hear from the animal's point of view before examination and treatment.
I firmly believe that Animal Communication should not be used merely as a "Parlour Trick", and that receiving the messages is only half the process - knowing what to do with the information received is equally important, as is how to deliver that message. During our conversation I counsel animals with emotional and psychological issues, and offer distant healing where needed. I work as mediator, because sometimes compromise is necessary from humans as well as animals.
I am Clairaudient, (literally means "clear hearing") Clairvoyant, (clear seeing)Clairsentient (clear feeling) and Animal Psychic (connected to animals in Spirit), so a communication session with me includes the actual words your friend uses, the images they may show me, their bodily sensations and also messages from those in Spirit.
Somewhere out there is...a unique life role for you to fill that only you can fill. Thomas Kinkade
In Amelia Kinkade's book, “Straight From the Horses Mouth”, she quotes Paul Gauguin, "I shut my eyes in order to see." Her version of that concept would be, "I sit in silence in order to hear."
This site aims to enlighten all animal lovers with regard to Animal Communication (or Interspecies Telepathic Communication) and to provide practical help, advice and guidance for the improvement, safeguard and respect of ALL animal life. And if you want to re-learn how to do it for yourself, please join me on one of my workshops.
See how nature - trees, flowers, grass - grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence...we need silence to be able to touch souls. Mother Theresa

I live with my Long-Suffering Husband Russell, 3 wonderful rescue cats - Dusty, Jasper (here i am with him at 10 days old) and Barney, plus 3 adorable rescued battery hens - Mavis Riley, Betty Turpin and Rita Littlewood (does this tell you anything else about me?) I have adored animals for as long as I can remember and had an affinity for all species from a very early age (attracting waifs & strays like a magnet, followed to & from school by neighbours' animals!) My love for animals was compounded, nurtured, encouraged and inspired by my wonderful Father, and tolerated by my lovely Mother! Growing up, for 21 fabulous years, my best friend and confidante was my beautiful cat Candy, followed by Lucy (self-proclaimed Greatest Cat in the World!) who features on my logo, and Lennox, the zen buddhist cat in a fur coat!

Giraffes kiss me, horses follow me, big dogs like to sit on me, and I have a penchant for kissing donkeys & alpacas! I often have a liberal coating of animal hair and my own hair seems to change colour at its own will...
What happens During an Animal Communication Session?
I contact your animal either by photograph or in person, which means your location need not be an issue to helping your animal. Through the telepathic process I can pick up words, sensations and images, which indicate how they are feeling, issues that may have affected them in the past, their likes and dislikes etc. Through Body Scanning I can raise awareness of physical sensations which helps us to all (Companion, Communicator and Vet) work together to arrive at the best course of action to help your pet.
I will then feedback the session to you verbally, by phone or Skype (preferably) or via email, at which time we clarify the messages, and my interpretations of them. You may find it useful to have paper and pen handy. I understand that the process can be exciting, emotional and even overwhelming for the recipient, and that there are often others who wish to hear what was said, so a few notes can help.
For a small additional fee I can later send a typed transcript of my conversation with your companion, as a unique souvenir of an extraordinary process. Due to my huge workload I am unable to do this free for every communication any more - I found that the time it was taking was preventing me taking on more animals who needed me. I am so sorry, and hope return clients understand the reasons for this.
I am fully insured for all the therapies I practice, and undertake Continuing Professional Development every year.
So, if you would like to know what your companion is thinking, resolve any behavioural issues, investigate any health worries or just want to deepen the bond between you, please call me on 0191 5121279 (often on answer phone when I am working), email

I trained with the NFSH (National Federation of Spiritual Healers) after studying Reiki 12 years ago. I find animals respond incredibly well to healing, either hands-on and in person (with your vet's agreement) or from a distance. Hopefully after reading the previous section on Animal Communication I won’t have to explain how this is possible! This service is available separately, as well as in conjunction with Animal Communication.
I am fully insured for all my work practices.
I direct you to the disclaimer at the bottom of the page.
I have been featured on National terrestrial TV & BBC radio and in the Sunderland Echo, Sunday People, Yours, Real Lives, Take a Break's Fate & Fortune magazines for my work in Animal Communication & Healing, and my association with local & international animal charities. I have had articles published on Animal Communication, Homeopathy for Animals and Homeopathy in general.
DISCLAIMER
Disclaimer: I am not a vet and cannot diagnose illness. My role is to describe the symptoms revealed by the animal during our communication, which can be used to assist your vet or animal practitioner. Good veterinary care is always recommended. I can recommend vets in The North-East of England only.
The Veterinary Surgery Act of 1966 prohibits anyone other than a qualified veterinary surgeon from treating animals including diagnosis of ailments and giving advice on such diagnosis.
However, the healing of animals by contact healing, by the laying on of hands or distant healing is legal. Owners are requested to advise their veterinary surgeons of their intention to use healing or any other complementary therapy alongside conventional treatment.
The Protection of Animals Act 1911 requires that if an animal clearly needs treatment from a veterinary surgeon the owner must obtain this.
